In this first post, I want to share how Emerald Leaf Bakehouse began.

Emerald Leaf started with a simple intention: to share my love of baked goods with my family. I set out to create fresh, comforting bakes that both my son, a vegetarian, and my niece, who has a tree nut allergy, could enjoy — without sacrificing the richness and indulgence I love. That pursuit led to what would become our signature sweet rolls: soft, buttery, plant-based, and thoughtfully made. They became the foundation of Emerald Leaf Bakehouse.

With the support of my family, my home kitchen slowly transformed into a place of warmth and artistry — a space filled with early mornings, small batches, and recipes shaped by care and curiosity. What began as a personal goal has grown into something I am deeply grateful to share.
